Hilf Supply Chain Solutions is a Management Consultancy and specialist training company based in South Wales with a passion for raising the profile of the supply chain as a competitive weapon amongst its clients. As the HILF mission statement indicates, delighting its customers is a prerequisite for the way the company operates.

MRP Training

A particular area where the business has a valuable offering, is refresher training in MRP logic – offering back-to-basics and intermediate level courses, which contribute towards organisation effectiveness through reductions in obsolescence and assisting Planners appreciate the wider implications of their actions. With traditional MRP logic being employed by modern ERP packages, these cost effective training sessions will assist IT implementations and will likely contribute to an increased return on investment for the total system.

Meeting specific needs

Training courses are typically conducted at client site (at Client's convenience), though the company does have a training suite in position in South Wales if necessary.

Whilst training programmes can be developed based on client specific needs, subject matter include ‘Front End’ Customer Facing Supply Chain issues, the Planner/Buyer role, Inventory Management/ Forecasting, and a Business Fundamentals session that aims to arm support staff with a ‘flavour’ of numerous modern management techniques without being drowned in unnecessary levels of detail.

Example Projects

The company is responsible for the management of the SWIMM programme (South Wales Innovative Modern Management) and is also heavily involved in the SWWAPS programme (South West Wales Association of Purchasing & Supply).
