Holset had decided to divest a German Manufacturing company. This entailed the pre-sale restructuring of the organisation, with a resultant 31 redundancies. The sale was completed in record time and produced better than expected financial results.
The agreed goal was to restore productivity and was achieved by working closely with the workforce to identify common ground with management; refocus on the company's vision and put into action agreed objectives. Production levels and site standards exceeded management expectations.
I prepared the company for a trade sale by replacing the existing management group, producing a new sales and marketing plan; cash management; cost reduction; inward investment and the sale of part of the company.
