Joining SWConsult
Our members are primarily Management Consultants, Human Resource providers, Training Providers, eBusiness Consultants. We also have members who work for small and large businesses in a management capacity - or are just interested in business. We welcome diversity.
To join SWIG, you need to become a member. Cost of annual membership is just £35, just enough to keep the web site operating. We charge a few pounds for those attending the meeting for the sandwiches, etc.
£35 is not a lot for all the benefits of SWIG! Think of the excellent discussions we have every six weeks, all the networking you can do, the pool of talent at your disposal for projects, the referrals you may receive, the web site which will point potential clients at your business, the social events and the companionship of those in the same situation as yourself. Why, it should be more like £300!! What a bargain at £35.
You receive the following online benefits:
a. Official SWIG Logo to place on your website, to show your affiliation and association with the SWIG Network.
b. Create and amend your marketing collateral on the SWConsult website. The website is 'search engine optimised' (see proof below) to meet the needs of many millions of search engine enquirers - that can be your business.
c. Website traffic via 1000 visitor/month site. Highly targeted. We are currently ranked no 1 and no 2 in Google for "Management Consultants, South West England".
d. Submit PR and News to other SWIG members (like an intranet), or publish online PR to buyers to generate awareness, and leads.
e. Your own individual directory, HTML page. will be itself optimised and serve as a gateway to your own website.
f. Submit marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, PDFs, etc) that again is indexed in search engines plus available to all SWIG members and visitors.
g. The option to buy a yourbusinessname@swconsult.co.uk email address for £15 per year extra. This allows you both 'webmail' access to your emails plus 'POP' access via Outlook Express/Outlook. Good idea to have a back up email system since even 99.9% uptime is still 10 hours downtime a year!)
